Check out my newest designs that I am calling Mixed Media Pendants. I have combined Polymer Clay and either Glass or Acrylic in the same pendant. Some are adorned with paint or rhinestones and I have even combined my transfer technique with the glass. I am having so much fun with them. I purchased the tutorial from a seller on Etsy. I am so sorry that I have not posted in such a long time, but I have been busy trying to come up with some new designs. Here are some great new pendants for you in new shapes and sizes. The oval glass is great - I really think it gives the overall pendants such a unique look. OK-So I have been going back and forth about adding more to my Etsy shop since my house is bursting at the seams with Vintage jewelry, supplies and more. I did have 2 shops at one point, but it was just extra work that I did not have time for. So, I decided to put everything back into one shop. I have everything from my handmade pendants to pocket mirrors to vintage jewelry. I know it may be a bit overwhelming at first, but if you make sure to check out my shop by using the sections, you are sure to find what you are searching for :) I will be adding more vintage jewelry and some jewelry making supplies throughout the next few weeks. Well - I was so excited when the editor of Stringing magazine contacted me to be a part of this wonderful Owl Layout. The 3 Pendants in the middle of the right page are from my shop. I also have to give a big shout out to Ashley Spatula - the illustrator of the round Polymer Clay Owl Pendant and YiYingLu - the illustrator of the Orange Owl Glass pendant. New Custom Items in Glass

Since I have started working with Glass Tiles - I decided to expand upon my custom photo line and make them with the glass tiles. I started with a fun magnet set that would make a great gift. The listing in my shop is for 4 magnets - but I can do as many as you would like. They would also make great party favors. I can use a photograph or image of any kind.

I used the same size tile to create a pendant using a sterling silver bail. The size is a little bit smaller than my polymer clay pendants which makes it perfect for someone who likes their pendants a bit smaller and more understated. I think it is also a little more elegant and can be worn with a dressier outfit.

I can do these in color, Sepia or Black & White. I am more than happy to crop any photos or enhance them. Please take a look here in my shop to find these and more custom items.

More Copycats

Once again it saddens me that there are dishonest people out there just trying to make a buck. 2 more sellers on Etsy who have purchased my tutorial have decided that it is OK to take this and run with it. They may have changed the words a bit and used their own pictures - but it is basically the same. Unfortunately, it is beyond my control and there is not much I can do about it. It has happened to other sellers on Etsy as well -and I think it is just horrible that people feel like they are doing absolutely nothing wrong. It must be nice to have no feelings of remorse for being a dishonest person and basically a thief. I know this will not be the last time this happens - but I hope that if you read this and you are one of these people or you are thinking of doing this - please think twice before you do this. You are ultimately stealing from someone. If you did not find this information out from my tutorial you would not be able to write your own. Does that make sense to you? It is wrong - completely wrong.

Another New Item

Introducing another new item from Analiese Designs - Glass Tile Pendants. I always want to try new things and I have to say I love making these almost as much as the polymer clay pendants - they have a totally different look to them and I like them better than the scrabble tile pendants I tried. I can use a variety of images and papers that really show nicely through the glass. The tiles are nice and smooth on the edges - no chances of cuts :) I bought the tiles on Etsy and used scrapbook paper and my own images. The glass is adhered to the top of the paper and I sealed the back with clear acrylic gloss. Each pendant is finished with a sterling silver plated bail - or in one case - a hand made wire bail. I have lots more to list - so stay tuned.

I have grouped all my pendants together into different categories - such as birds and flowers or black and white.

Purchase any 3 pendants and you will receive a free silver ball chain to hang them from -they can easily be interchanged with the chain.

New Items from Analiese Designs

I can never be happy doing just one thing - so I am introducing a couple of new items as well as bringing back some old ones. The first new item I have in my Etsy shop is pocket mirrors. These have been made using some images I created myself and have done on Pendants. They are super cute and make a great gift as they come in a black velvet pouch. Check out my shop to see my selection of pocket mirrors.

My other new item is Scrabble (tm) tile Pendants that I recently learned how to make from Littleput on Etsy by buying her tutorial. They are a lot of fun and allow me to use paper in new ways. Stay tuned for more as I do some experimenting :)

Birds, Birds Everywhere

I have been really obsessed with birds lately and I have been creating my own images using a mix of several silhouettes and backdrops. With spring on the way - I thought I would really work in those flowers and butterflies as well. New Tutorial Now Available

Unfortunately, I have had a couple of bad experiences with sharing my original tutorial/technique with some fellow crafers who have now taken it upon themselves to sell it as their own. Because of this and the way we are unprotected by any kind of law, I have decided to fight fire with fire and sell the tutorial myself. These people have hurt me deeply in the fact that I was just trying to be kind and helpful only to be stabbed in the back. I can guarantee that my tutorial is the original and the people who have decided to profit from it may feel great about it - but they are dishonest and underhanded. I never wanted to start selling my tutorial out of spite - but alas I have, and I would love it if you would please take a look and have fun with it. Once you start - you cannot stop - it is my obsession and I love doing it. I hope you can enjoy it as much as I have and maybe put your own little spin on it. Thank you to all those people who have supported me through this minor crisis - it is minor in the grand scheme of things - but it did scar me a bit in believing that people can be honest and trustworthy. It will take me a while to trust again - and I hope other crafters out there read this and protect your rights. This is a bit of a rant - but I wanted to share my feelings openly and honestly.

For those of you who have asked me in the past for help in creating these pendants - I offer this to you now. If it is sold out - please check back later - I re-list it often :)

My New Custom Creation

This is a new addition to my customized polymer clay items. It was actually the brainchild of one of my customers, but I had been wanting to do this for a long time. I am glad I finally took the time to create it - because I am thrilled with the results. This bracelet can be made using 6 photos. I can make the tiles either round or square and make the color or black and white or sepia. I have added crystals to each tile that can be customized to match a birthstone. I just think this would make a great gift for grandmothers :)

1,000 Sales on Etsy - Yay

I am a little late in posting this since I am now up to 1,034 Sales !!! I just cannot believe it, really I am so very excited to have reached this goal. I would look at other Etsy sellers and say, "I wonder if I will ever reach 1,000 sales". So if you are another seller, and you are getting frustrated - don't - you will reach your goals. I am happy to say that I am working on several new projects that will be great for the upcoming Holiday Season. Lots of custom items and One of a Kind Pieces. Again - many thanks to my family, friends and especially my customers who have helped me reach this goal. Spooky Selections

I'm Famous !!!

OK-Well maybe not that famous - but I made it into my local CT newspaper, "The Connecticut Post". No, I am not a doll, I am the one in the pink shirt making my pendants. The article is on their website, but the pictures are not, so I scanned the first part. The next page has a photo of some of my work including a pendant I made with my son's photo - so he also made it into the paper ? Introducing - Wire Wrapped Pendants

Introducing my NEW Sterling Silver Wire Wrapped Pendants. I learned this wonderful technique from Matthew Nix of Nix Creations. Each of these pendants was made with 22 Gauge Sterling Silver wire. I used a variety of vintage lucite beads and added some modern crystals to offset them. I will be listing them on my Etsy site within the next few days. I just wanted to give you a Sneak Peek !!!

My gorgeous son turns 6 years old today, and in honor of his birthday, I have added this custom pendant to my Etsy shop, and I will be adding it to my Analiese Designs website as well. This custom pendant has a crystal on top that matches a birthstone color. You can see your color choices in my listing. I would also like to wish my Brother a Happy Birthday - whose birthday is also today, and a belated Happy Birthday to my Mother-in-law, whose birthday was Yesterday.

New Garden Floral Necklace

Just a sneak peak at a new necklace I will be listing sometime today. I designed the necklace around this gorgeous centerpiece. I used matching Swarovksi crystals and silver seed beads. I am really in love with this necklace - and I was very tempted to keep it all to myself - but I think I will let someone else enjoy it. It measures about 18" long. It is a great addition to any Spring outfit!!

Black & White for Spring ???

Yes - even though Spring is in the air - I am featuring a lot of Black and White items in my shop. We are actually supposed to get some snow here in CT tonight - can you believe it? Well, I can !

I remember when I was pregnant with my son (his due date was St. Patrick's Day), and we had a snow storm a few days before. I was really nervous that I was going to go into labor during the storm. Luckily I didn't and my son was born 3 days after my due date on March 20th.

I always have to mention my son in all my posts - I can't help it :)

Anyway - Black & White is always in style and you can wear it all year round with any outfit. So please take a look at my Etsy shop for more great Black & White

My Newest Idea

Don't you just love my son's artwork !! If you have run out of room on your fridge like we have - you need to think of other ways to display your child's art. I created this polymer clay pendant to show off this masterpiece. I can also make them into Magnets, Keychains or Pins. This is such a great gift idea for grandparents, Mother's Day, birthday and more. Your child will be thrilled when they see this - my son went nuts over it.

Well, I never thought I would start a blog - but, I decided I needed more work to do :)

I am working hard on my other 2 websites -keeping them up to date and fresh. This blog will help you learn a little more about me and my work, as well as give you some sneak peeks !!
